February domestic mobile phone shipmentsreached18.1million units, down38.7percent year over year. 75 new models were released in the month, up 120.6percent year-over-year (y/y).
Over the past 2 months, domestic mobile phone shipments reached57.2million units and number of new model release reached126,down25.2 percent and up 29.9percent y/y respectively.

February domestic 4G mobile phone shipments were17.5million units, down 37.0percent y/y, and represented 96.8percent of the total shipments. 56new 4G models were released in the month, up 107.4percent y/y, accounting for 74.7percent of the total new models this month.
Over the past 2 months, domestic 4G mobile phone shipments were 53.9 million units, down 26.2percenty/y, and represented 94.2percent of the total shipments. The totalnumber of new model release reached89, up 15.6 percent y/y, accounting for 70.6percent of the total new model release.
Of the total 4G mobile phone shipments this month, 92.5 percent of which were all networks supported, and98.8%, 99.9%,98.8%, 92.5% of the 4G mobile phones shipped supported FDD LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, cdma2000 network, respectively.
Part 3.Local and MNC Brands of Mobile Phones
February mobile phone shipments by the local brands reached 15.4million units, down 41.3percent y/y, accounting for 84.8 percent of the domestic mobile phone shipments. Number of new models released by the local brands(67 units)increasedby 109.4 percent y/y, and represented 89.3percent of the total number of new model release in the month.
Mobile phone shipmentvolume for year 2018by the local brands reached48.9million units, down 27.1percent y/y, and accounted for 85.5 percent of the domestic mobile phone shipments. Number of new models released by the local brands (112units) increasedby 24.4percent y/y,and represented88.9 percent of the total number of new model release in the domestic market.

Over the past 12 months, domestic mobile phone shipments reached491.1million units and number of new model release reached1054,down12.3 percent and 27.1percent y/y respectively.

In 2017, domestic 4G mobile phone shipments were 462.3 million units, down 11.0percenty/y, and represented 94.1percent of the total shipments. The totalnumber of new model release reached810, down 34.6 percent y/y, accounting for 76.9 percent of the total new model release.
Of the total 4G mobile phone shipments this month, 89.4 percent of which were all networks supported, and98.8%, 99.5%,98.4%, 89.6% of the 4G mobile phones shipped supported FDD LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, cdma2000 network, respectively.

YTD domestic 4G mobile phone shipments were 421.8 million units, down 8.1percent year over year, and represented 94.1percent of the total shipments. YTD number of new model release reached753, down 33.5 percent year over year, accounting for 78.1percent of the total new model release.
Out of the total 4G mobile phone shipments this month, 92.2 percent of which were all networks supported, and98.4%, 99.6%,98.2%, 92.4% of the 4G mobile phones shipped supported FDD LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, cdma2000 network, respectively.

YTD mobile phone shipments by the local brands reached400.3million units, down 9.4percent year over year, and accounted for 89.3 percent of the domestic mobile phone shipments. Number of new models released by the local brands (902units) decreased by 28.4 percent year over year,and represented93.6 percent of the total number of new model release in the domestic market.
